Battle it out with one of two games of Gladiator Combat! Set includes: - 2 x Inflatable Helmets
- 2 x Inflatable Shields
- 2 x Inflatable Mace
Game 1: Mercy Game - Two gladiators and an appointed Caesar required - Opponents must ensure they wear their helmet and shield for the duration of the battle - Upon the command of the Caesar the opponents must attempt to strike each other with their maces by using a swinging action only - NO THRUSTING OF THE MACE ALLOWED! - The shield and helmet are for defence only. No strikes permitted by either (i.e. no headbutting!) - Caesar must stop the game if protective helmets come loose or fall off - Any clean strikes to a Gladiator's leg means the lose use of that leg for the duration of the battle and must kneel or stand on one leg. - Similarly a strike to the arm means they must place that arm behind their back for the duration, dropping any weapons/protection they had in that hand. - A clean body strike causes instant death and Caesar declares the opponent the winner! Strikes blocked by the shield or helmet do not count. Once a gladiator loses the use of both arms and legs they must kneel and beg for mercy - Caesar will decide their fate! Game 2: Points Game - Two gladiators and an appointed Caesar required - Opponents must ensure they wear their helmet and shield for the duration of the battle - Upon the command of the Caesar the opponents must attempt to strike each other with their maces by using a swinging action only - NO THRUSTING OF THE MACE ALLOWED! - The shield and helmet are for defence only. No strikes permitted by either (i.e. no headbutting!) - Caesar must stop the game if protective helmets come loose or fall off - Caesar awards points for every clean strike to the body, arms or legs of the opponent Strikes blocked by the shield or helmet do not count. Caesar calls end to the battle after a pre-determined amount of time and hails the Gladiator with the most points the winner.
